Here are a few of my mental brain farts on the PUA Method way. PUA Method is always evolving and the focus is on getting you results rather than getting you to invest into a fake identity.
Zen Pick Up favours a method-less approach so that all methods can be used and there is no predefined style, so Zen Pick Up will fit in with all styles too. As a result Zen Pick Up uses all ways but is bound to none, any technique can be used if it brings you closer to the end. Efficiency is an action which gets a positive result without necessarily needing that outcome.
I recommend that you don’t say “I am not going to learn this pick up method or that pick up method” as a reaction. This will just lead to you creating another pattern of “I’m this type of P.U.A” which will put you in a cage again. Learn from every resource even when you don’t think that they would be for you.
The naturals are too gung ho and miss the delicate approach, the intellectuals over think and will back down from many opportunities to grow, leading to a lack of efficiency.
Letting the pick up arts become you is like the experience of Buddhism. When it becomes part of you, you know you have it. You succeed at it. You never fully understand all of it but you keep moving forward. As you progress you know the true nature of the simple way.
To understand Zen Pick Up you should throw away all ideals, patterns, styles and outcomes. in fact should throw away what is or isn’t an ideal result or outcome.
Look at a situation without naming it, naming something like “sarging” “gaming” “a set” “approaching”, making it a word causes it to feel important, which will lead to you feeling fear.
A great mistake is to anticipate the outcome of a social interaction. You shouldn’t be wondering whether it will end in success or not. Instead let nature take its course and trust that your personality and social intelligence will come through and steer it in the right direction.
It is difficult to see a situation and to attach no meaning or word to it. Our minds unless trained to be more calm and focused through zazen are very scattered. It is easy for me to make a student skilful at the Pick Up Arts but it is a lot more difficult to teach him the right attitude.
It is all right to change one’s style to calibrate to a certain pickup but you should not change who you are. By changing style I mean switching your personal approach. Don’t take on the behaviours and mannerisms of a guru.
Non – attachment at the foundation is man’s original nature. As a new born you are filled with no thoughts or attachment and live purely in the moment, seeing the world completely clear from an un-delusional state.

Hey Kingy, cheers for the blog content. Quick question, when you say that naturals are to gun ho and miss the delicate approach what do you mean by that? I mean are you saying that they are too physically aggressive or that they aren’t emotional enough? cheers paulie
Hey Paulie, good question, yes you are right with both of those things. Sometimes calibration is needed in the pick up and that is where game comes in. Whilst not putting up with bad behaviour you are able calibrate to what the girl responds too. It’s having that social awareness but not reacting yourself too it, just changing your approach.
e.g. some girls respond to kino, some emotional connection, some cocky funny, some social proof, some a man with ambition. After doing thousands of sets it is possible to get a pretty good intution about a girl quickly. Also just like tennis it is good to mix things up a bit. What is she responding too? What isn’t she responding too. “She hasn’t told me to go away yet” so I’ll try something else “perhaps more kino”.

naturals don’t have that social awareness and have a certain type of approach that works in a certain environment on a certain type of woman. A pick up artist can be a lot more dynamic with his sets which leads to a HIGH level of consistancy
